Marketing | Creative Designer Apprentice (CPLP-2115)

The Creative Designer Apprentice will support the Loyalty Marketing Team in producing compelling visual contents that will elevate the PACIFICPOINTS Loyalty brand across digital and offline channels.

 

Responsibilities


The Employee will:

  • Assist in developing creative concepts and multimedia assets for marketing promotions, brand partnerships, sponsorships, events, and other loyalty initiatives.
  • Support in the planning, filming, and editing of short-form video content for digital campaigns, program awareness, and corporate events.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PACIFICPOINTS Program offerings to create visual materials that effectively communicate program benefits.
  • Collaborate with the Loyalty Marketing team to shape consumer messaging and support the management of advertising-related budgets.
  • Assist in designing and producing layouts for a wide range of marketing materials including advertisements, in-store signage, corporate presentations, reports, and promotional collateral.
  • Participate in organizing and conducting product or photo shoots as needed for campaign material development.
  • Contribute to ensuring that all visual and multimedia elements of marketing campaigns are cohesive, targeted, and aligned with the overall campaign message.
  • Provide the Loyalty Marketing team with advertising assets in appropriate formats and specifications across various channels and platforms.
  • Ensure all creative outputs adhere to the brand identity standards, including correct and consistent usage of logos, brand colors, and visual guidelines.
  • Support cross-functional teams as needed by providing design assistance and creative input for department-wide initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned to support broader marketing and business objectives.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills


  • Must provide a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be a US citizen or resident alien.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be a resident of Guam for a period not less than three (3) consecutive years before entry into the program.
  • Mayor’s Verification must be submitted upon hire.
  • Must be able to attend a minimum of two (2) classes per semester as identified by program coordinator, while working forty (40) hours per week with IT&E.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

 

  • One year in the field of graphic and video artistry in an advertising or marketing environment is desirable but not required.


Physical Demands 


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The physical activity of this position includes repetitive motions – making substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.

The physical requirements of this position involve sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

For visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field of vision, the worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines.


Working Conditions


The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
