Marketing Coordinator Apprentice (Loyalty and Account Management)
Job Description:
The Marketing Coordinator Apprentice (Loyalty and Account Management) provides operational and administrative support for PACIFICPOINTS, including PACIFICPOINTS FleetPlus, and other marketing partnership initiatives. The role supports account management, partner and customer acquisition, customer assistance, loyalty system operations, and backend coordination to ensure efficient implementation of loyalty programs, promotions, and partnership activities. The position also works closely with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to support retail business growth and enhance customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Employee will:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations and coordination of PACIFICPOINTS and PACIFICPOINTS FleetPlus activities, promotions, and member engagement initiatives.
- Support account management processes, including acquiring and onboarding new PACIFICPOINTS FleetPlus accounts and maintaining accurate account records.
- Assist in acquiring and coordinating with points awarding and redemption partners to support loyalty program expansion and partnership development initiatives.
- Attend to member, partner, and customer concerns or requests while ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal support groups and vendors to improve loyalty program processes and customer experience.
- Prepare and coordinate marketing communication materials, promotional requirements, and campaign support for timely execution across platforms and retail location.
- Assist in managing loyalty system operations, including report generation, database maintenance, system monitoring, and business user testing for related applications and systems.
- Assist in preparing training materials and supporting training sessions related to PACIFICPOINTS programs, promotions, and system processes.
- Monitor and maintain documentation related to loyalty operations, partnerships, marketing initiatives, and operational reports.
- Support the development of partnership opportunities, marketing tie-ups, and collaborative campaigns that contribute to the growth of retail business.
- Perform other operational, administrative, and marketing-related duties as assigned to support business objectives and program development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE
- Basic understanding of marketing principles, customer loyalty programs, and partnership management.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, social media, and customer engagement tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, reporting tools, and database management.
SKILLS:
- Strong organizational, coordination, and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for partner and customer interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
ABILITIES:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to loyalty systems, operational processes, and marketing initiatives.
- Ability to provide professional customer support while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in handling records and reports.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. However, interfaces with IP&E staff and contractors in Guam, Saipan and Palau.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required for this position based on operational needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- US Citizen or resident alien
- 18 years of age or older
- Has been a resident of Guam for a period of not less than (3) consecutive years before entry into the program
- Mayor's verification must be submitted upon hire
- Be able to attend a minimum of two (2) classes per semester, while working forty (40) hours per week
- Minimum 1 year experience with the use of computers and experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
