Job Description:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. He will also collaborate closely with other departments to support the financial objectives and strategic initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Employee will:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules. ·
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities. ·
  • Liaise with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. ·
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. ·
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • CPA License is an advantage.
