Under the supervision of the Sr. Marketing Coordinator, markets products and services by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning and coordinating of meetings and events; maintaining databases; preparing reports, implementing all administrative functions and requirements for the Marketing Department. The position does not involve creative design responsibilities or the creation of marketing strategies.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Employee will:

  • Know and uphold the established corporate Mission. policies and procedures, relevant provisions of the union agreement, Corporate and Office objectives, quality assurance and safety programs and standards.
  • Assist the Marketing staff in accomplishing the administrative tasks and responsibilities required of the department.
  • Assist the Sr. Marketing Coordinator in trafficking tasks & priorities within the Marketing department, managing the vendors and managing the Marketing budget & spending.
  • Provide administrative support for the Marketing Department by handling correspondence, preparing purchase requisitions, and travel requests, filing, and maintaining accounts and expense reports.
  • Coordinates with media outlets and other departments on the scheduling and release of marketing advertisements and promotions. etc. including print and television.
  • Ensures that scheduled advertisements and promotional activities appear as scheduled and by scheduling terms.
  • Maintains Press Clipping Archive by collecting all articles, promotional materials, advertisements, etc.
  • Coordinates and schedules photo shoots of locations, models, and photographers. Maintains an archive of photography.
  • Assists the Marketing Department in scheduling appointments with business clients and customers.
  • Prepare time sheets for marketing department staff.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and always ensure the availability of supplies for the department.
  • Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the graphics department; inventorying stock; placing orders verifying receipts.
  • Coordinate, Lead, and Participate in event marketing such as off-site & on-site events designed to build brand awareness & corporate culture. Coordination and attendance at these events will be expected.
  • Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned or required.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

 

  • High School Graduate or successful completion of the GED program
  • Two years of progressive experience in general administration


Physical Demands 


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physical activity of this position includes repetitive motions – making substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.

The physical requirements of this position involve sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

For visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field of vision, the worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines.


Working Conditions


The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Formerly Micronesian Telecommunications Corp, IT&E was a part of Verizon International. CITADEL acquired IT&E in 2005 after successfully navigating the US CIFUS process and the Federal Communications Commission. In 2006, a partnership was established with Sumitomo Corporation, one of Japan’s largest trading houses, which invested in the company as part of its telecommunications push. The company acquired IT&E in Guam, and together, became the largest wireless provider in Micronesia. The entire company was renamed IT&E.
