Record To Report Team Lead (CPA)
Job Description:
The Record-to-Report Team Lead ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting in line with local IFRS principles. Manage end-to-end record-to-report processes, establish service metrics, and drive efficiency in our finance operations. Leading process execution and transformation initiatives. RTR Team Lead oversee corporate and local closing, ledger reconciliations, journal entries, chart of accounts, accruals, provisions, and statutory reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Employee will:
- Manage the month-end closing process, management information and presentation (WD4)
- Ensure SLA Processes are met in terms of Accuracy and Timeliness (WD4)
- Assist in annual audit requirements substantiation
- Manage records retention of assigned OpCos
- Assist the CGS RTR Manager in RTR process improvements including system automation projects and reports automation
- Ensure accurate implementation of current accounting rulings and trends
- Maintain good working relationship with OpCo focals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 8 years + experience in Account Receivables, Customer Service, Finance, Commercial Finance, General Accounting
- Excellent understanding of the business, ideally with an in-depth knowledge of customer service operation / commercial / sales support/ billing and Record to Report processes
- Experience in leading change successfully required
- Excellent leadership skills especially in area of remote staff management.
- Excellent negotiation skills- at highest level (capable of representing business in major customer negotiation, complex payment / allocation issues
- Broad Accounting / Credit management knowledge
- Strong influence and impact towards the team
- Able to establish credibility with internal /external customers able to tackle major customer related issues
