As a key player in our finance team, you'll handle end-to-end general accounting, sub-ledger management, bank/balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, journal entries, and variance analysis. You'll ensure the integrity of the Balance Sheet and P&L for multiple entities of Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL).


Job Summary:

  • Responsible in handling end to end General Accounting, Sub ledger, Bank/Balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, journal entries and variance analysis.
  • Ensure the integrity of Balance Sheet and P&L for multiple organizational entities of Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL)
  • Provide timely, accurate and compliant record to report services including statutory reporting in accordance with local IFRS principles.
  • Ensure that cost of sales and sales for all the products are determined and accounted
  • Inventory accounting, valuation (including raw-material, WIP, scrap and finished goods) arriving the standard cost, purchase price variance, usage variance and other costing techniques.
  • Preparation and analyzing of cost statements, price variance, usage variance, and reports to stakeholders.

a. Manage execution of responsible R2R process areas and ensures the process operates efficiently and effectively.


b. Support the transformation of the Finance Organization from a local based financial & accounting services organization Citadel Pacific Ltd. (CPL) new financial organization with Enterprise lead activities and a shared services network.


c. Responsible for the design, development and delivery of the Record to Report strategy and process performance outcomes for the CPL organization.


d. Help deliver change management at a process level through direct authority for process design, engagement with the OPCOS process owners and working with ICT functions to deliver the optimal technology solutions.

  • Leads the team in the absence of the Team Lead

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four year course, preferably accountancy or business related
  • 5 years + experience in account receivables, customer Service , finance , commercial, sales ,marketing or in another related role
  • Excellent understanding of the business, ideally with an in-depth knowledge of customer service operation / commercial / sales support/ billing and Record to Report processes
  • Experience in leading change successfully required
  • Excellent leadership skills especially in area of remote staff management.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management

Prepares and analyses inventory, bank and general ledger reconciliation on monthly basis and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved according to existing guidelines

  • Prepares reports of beginning and current inventory, disbursements and production, purchase and sales on a monthly basis and reports to customers regularly and effectively via conference calls, emails and face to face meetings.
  • Help produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries for internal & external customers.
  • Support period end financial closing activities and ensure an efficient and effective close is performed including preparing judgment based accruals where required.
  • Meet service level agreements and performance targets related to the R2R (record to report) processes.
  • Provide audit support on statutory accounts, sox and internal audits related to inventoryDrive financial control process improvements and further standardizing of operations
  • Coordinate with other Shared Services teams to ensure that bookings/accounting are timely maintained.
  • Ensures that client rules are documented, up to date in terms of new instructions and are readily available for the team members to refer to. Provide guidance to the team in resolving procedural and instructional issues. Escalates to client support/client instances where the rules failed to cover, ambiguity in the application of the rule and those requiring further clarification.
  • Review that all balance related to dedicated account groups are correctly held and that adequate reconciliation/justifications are available with appropriate documentations.
  • Verify compliance with accounting standards & regulations concerning RTR dedicated account groups
  • Ensure adequate control of the Companies fixed assets accounting activities by maintaining proper control, allocation and recording in alignment with physical verification process executed by OPCOS.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement through process reviews, evaluation, formulation and implementation of procedures and tools aimed to enhance efficiency.
  • Attending Review Calls with OPCOS and handling Customer escalations.
  • Develops and submits the MIS Reports, Batch Trackers, Weekly Reports, Daily Reconciliation Reports and Project Summary Reports to the Management. Provide management with project status updates, feedback and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives.
  • Completion of various special projects as assigned.
  • Support Company initiated programs and activities ensuring active participation from team.

Assist Record to Report Team Lead in continuously improving General Accounting processes focusing on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization.


Assist Record to Report Team Lead in cost/benefit analysis of activities that will enhance the processes within the workstream
