The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute project development strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Dev’t Director in the appraisal, development, and execution of investment opportunities and live transactions.
  • Conduct commercial and financial due diligence, perform market research and financial analysis, including review of historic and prospective financial information.
  • Prepare business/financial models and presentations: output must summarize analysis, articulate findings, and draw out insight to aid in executive decision-making.
  • He is accountable to the Director of Business Development to undertake targeted research and marketing efforts in order to support the development of a pipeline of new business opportunities as they relate to the overall interests of the group.

Qualifications

  • University degree in business, finance, economics and/or accountancy.
  • Finance background is a plus
  • 1-3 years relevant working experience in a multinational/ global environment.
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
