The Team Lead is responsible to support and assist the Store Manager, with the planning, organizing, direction, control, and evaluation of retail stores. The Team Lead directs the staff to ensure that all transactions are completed promptly and correctly, all sales are completed competently, and that cash control, security and till balancing during each shift is properly accounted for. Team Leads ensure excellent standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and quality of product are maintained at the site, ensures all tasks are completed to the Company’s stated Health, safety, security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and guidelines.


Responsibilities

 

The Employee will:

  • Demonstrates excellence and high quality in customer service at all times.
  • Handles customer complaints and is responsible for the staff in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Assists with shuttle of customers as needed.
  • Assists customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise on a daily basis.
  • Assists with and checks all merchandise information.
  • Monitor stock by SKUs.
  • Completes all transactions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintains display and presentation standards at all times.
  • Light housekeeping.
  • Orders, receives and stocks merchandise in response to shop needs.
  • Create schedules for location team members.
  • Participate in new applicant job interviews.

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate

Physical Demands


This job operates in a retail environment with merchandise displays and items available for purchase in inventory.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Working Conditions


The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
