The HR Shared Services Timekeeping and Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and efficient timekeeping and payroll support to multiple operating companies engaged with CITADEL HR Shared Services. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all employees receive their compensation in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations based on scheduled timekeeping and payroll processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timekeeping Management: Manage and maintain time and attendance records, including tracking hours worked, leave, and attendance patterns. Excellent MS Excel skills is a must!
- Payroll Management: Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for various operating companies, ensuring precision and timeliness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Detail Orientation: Collaborate with HR, finance, and departmental teams to validate and update employee information, tax details, and deductions.
- Critical Thinking: Address and resolve employee inquiries related to timekeeping, paychecks, and payroll procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations governing payroll, including tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and labor laws.
- Analysis: Generate reports and analyze payroll data to support decision-making, reporting, and auditing.
- Compliance & Market Competitiveness: Keep abreast of labor laws and industry changes to maintain adherence to relevant legislation.
- Project Management: Assist in the implementation and optimization of timekeeping and payroll systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits administration
- Demonstrated experience in timekeeping and payroll administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software, such as SAP, Jeonsoft, ADP, P2U, or similar systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and payroll. Familiarity of labor laws in Guam and HK is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
