Job Overview

The Cargo Sales and Operations Support role involves managing and optimizing cargo sales and operations processes, ensuring efficient customer service operations. Responsibilities include coordinating with sales and operations teams, handling client inquiries, and maintaining accurate documentation for seamless air freight transportation.

Responsibilities:

Operations Functions

• Prepare all documentation needed for acceptance and transfers of cargo (ONLINE/INTERLINE)
• Decides which cargos are to be loaded and which are to be rebooked if there are offloaded shipments
• Rebook all offloaded shipments on United Cargo online flights and advise affected agents
• Monitoring and assisting customer’s cargo transfer depending on the plotted warehouse/interline partner-CHI/PAGSS/PSL
• Submit actual data per flight to United SYD to include pieces loaded, PMC numbers used, build-up
• Sending Uplift Confirmation to customers daily
• Communicating with United HQ and HUB stations worldwide for any service concerns.

Sales Functions

• Responsible for the daily shipment monitoring and advising and coordinate with sales team for proper bookings
• Sending daily POD (Proof of Delivery) to customers and answers inquiries regarding cargo status
• Help with bookings and confirmation after-sales duty as needed
• Help in daily finalization of bookings before flight time

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree
• Preferably with relevant experience
• Must possess an understanding of flight/cargo operations
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset
• Knowledgeable in cargo, air freight, aviation, and sales
