Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the Group Internal Audit Head in performing risk assessments for the development of the annual audit plan focusing on IT processes, infrastructure and information security.
  • Plan and carry out assurance and consultancy services to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes over all functions and processes related to Information Systems (i.e. IT governance, system development and support, data center operations, IT infrastructure and facilities, information asset management, and system administration.)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop management agreed action plans that address root causes of audit observations.
  • Prepare audit reports to communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Assist, as appropriate, the finance and operations audit team on IT related areas covered under audit.
  • Assist in setting department objectives, evaluating the performance of staff and analyzing training needs in order to build internal capabilities.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and committees, as appropriate.
  • Perform special projects, investigations and other reviews, as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science , or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT auditing and information security, preferably for a global organization or with a Big 4 professional services firm
  • Functional / Technical Competencies
    1. Proficiency in the IIA’s International Professional Practices Framework and ISACA’s IT Audit Framework.
    2. Strong knowledge in IT governance, infrastructure technologies, application development and support, data center operations, information security, and emerging technologies.
    3. In-depth knowledge of governance, risks and controls principles
    4. In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, BMIS, and CMMI), risk management methodologies and industry best practices
    5. Preferably with experience in any of the following industries (aviation, manpower services, manufacturing, oil & gas, telecommunication)
    6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    7. Demonstrated understanding of information systems (e.g. Oracle, NAV or SAP)
    8. Knowledgeable in the use of data analytics tools (Tableau, ACL)
    9. Strong project management skills
