Finance | Manager of Business Process Optimization (IP&E-1995)

Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the ERP project, focusing primarily on US operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Serve as the primary liaison between business units, external consultants, and executive leadership, driving collaboration and value creation. Oversee change management initiatives to foster user adoption, champion process standardization, and manage risks and vendor relationships to ensure project success. Provide financial stewardship, monitor progress, and implement robust post-launch optimization strategies, all while promoting a culture of innovation and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

 

Program Leadership

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the ERP project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units, external consultants, and the executive leadership team.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve escalated issues, and manage risks to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.


Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align ERP capabilities with strategic objectives, driving value across the organization.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather input from key stakeholders and ensure requirements are well-documented and prioritized.
  • Champion process standardization and operational efficiency across business units while respecting regulatory and regional variations.


Change Management

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure user adoption of the ERP system, including communication plans, training programs, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of innovation and adaptability throughout the transformation process.


Operational Oversight

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project progress, key milestones, risks, and dependencies to the Steering Committee and senior leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that external consultants deliver high-quality outcomes in line with contractual obligations.
  • Develop a robust post-implementation plan, including performance metrics and ongoing optimization strategies.


Financial Stewardship

  • Oversee project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with approved financial plans.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements throughout the implementation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management, with a focus on enterprise transformation or ERP implementation.

  • Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, operations, and human resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale, multi-year projects.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and vendor relationship oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, or similar ERP systems is a plus but not mandatory.


Physical Demands


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The physical activity of this position includes repetitive motions – making substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.

The physical requirements of this position involve sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

For visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field of vision, the worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines.


Working Conditions


The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.  This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
