Job Description:

The Technical Services Engineer oversees the operations of the technical and engineering processes. Since the LPG industrial market requires strong technical and engineering support due to the nature of the product, and because of its highly flammable characteristics, the Technical Services Engineer must always maintain the highest level of safety and quality of workmanship to avoid accidents and injuries.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and engineering support to Isla Plants nationwide.
  • Design LPG installation and piping systems for commercial and industrial customers.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates of LPG projects and conduct tender in accordance to company regulations.
  • Supervise construction of LPG installations and piping system and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Ensure projects are implemented within cost and schedule.
  • Conduct safety audits on LPG installations and filling plants and initiate corrective action.
  • Implement maintenance program for LPG facilities.
  • Monitor and maintain optimum inventory of LPG tanks and equipment.
  • Coordinate w/ Procurement and suppliers on sourcing of LPG equipment.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of LPG assets and resources.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and customer complaints.
  • Organize and conduct safety training for customers and contractors.
  • Prepare and implement safety program of the department.
  • Assess safety performance of project contractors.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer, but we are open to other engineering fields such as Electrical or Civil.
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
  • LPG experience is preferred, but candidates with project management or experience in other fuel-related industries are welcome to apply.
