The IP Network and Security Administrator II is a mid-level position crucial to maintaining and enhancing the organization's network security framework. In collaboration with the Director of IP Operations and Senior IP Network Engineers, the individual in this role is responsible for engineering secure network edges and managing both internal and public network infrastructures efficiently.
In addition, the IP Network and Security Administrator II will administer and manage a range of network devices, including Juniper and Cisco routers and switches, access technologies like VDSL2 and GPON, Firewalls such as Juniper SRX, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA, IPS/IDS, Arbor appliance, Carrier-Grade NAT, and other network devices, to ensure the organization's network systems are secure and operating correctly.
The IP Network and Security Administrator II will conduct regular internal audits of the IP Network systems, computer networks, including desktops, servers, Metaswitch, and other network systems, to identify potential security breaches or vulnerabilities. The IP Network and Security Administrator II will collaborate with the Security Director, IP Operations, IT, and Switching Administrators to review the audit findings, perform further assessments, and agree on a timeline and resolutions to mitigate any identified security concerns.
Overall, the IP Network and Security Administrator II is a critical member of the organization's security team, responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information by ensuring the network systems are secure and properly managed.

The worker frequently is in close quarters, crawl spaces, shafts, manholes, small enclosed rooms, small sewage and water line pipes, and other areas which could cause claustrophobia. Formerly Micronesian Telecommunications Corp, IT&E was a part of Verizon International. CITADEL acquired IT&E in 2005 after successfully navigating the US CIFUS process and the Federal Communications Commission.
