Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Employee will:
Know and uphold the established IT&E Mission, policies and procedures, Department and Division objectives, quality assurance and safety programs and standards.
Responsible for the distribution channels of prepaid calling cards, handsets, sim cards, mifi rentals and accessories via independent contractors, direct resellers, and customer service outlets to ensure that all customers have access to purchase IT&E prepaid products throughout the island.
Process order requests for prepaid products for preparation and invoicing.
Deliver prepaid products to independent contractors and direct resellers.
Monitor sales activities through historical sales reports, acquire feedback from the retail trade and update competition activities in the trade to create strategies to maintain IT&E’s competitive advantage.
Take initiatives to improve and make the distribution process efficient to ensure that the trade is well stocked to maximize potential prepaid product sales.
Monitor sales activities of the independent contractors to ensure that they keep to the stipulations of the PTI Independent Contractors Contract.
Perform merchandising activities to promote the IT&E brand of prepaid products within the Guam trade.
Responsible for collection of accounts receivable on all prepaid product sales.
Develop sales strategies that will enable the sales force to achieve sales objectives and create profitable market expansion for the various IT&E services and products.
Research and gather information regarding market interest and demands, competitor products and sales methods and IT&E brand recognition and approval status to assist in the development of sales strategies.
Develop sales reports to show sales volume and product sales statistics to assist in product planning, development, marketing, and other pre-sales activities.
Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned or required.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience: Two years’ experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably in the telecommunications industry; and
Licensure/Certification/Professional Association:
Guam Driver’s License
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
Sales and motivation techniques
Telecommunications prepaid calling cards, handsets, sim cards, mifi rentals, and accessories.
Telecommunication networks and processes
Skills in:
Researching and analyzing market and sales trends
Public speaking and marketing/sales presentations
Use of personal computer hardware and Microsoft software programs
Ability to:
Communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately in English with all levels of staff and customers, both verbally and in writing
Physical Demands |
Talking: expressing ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound. The physical requirements of this position involve medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. For visual acuity requirements including preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection). using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes. |
