Recruitment Assistant (Landbased)

  • Source candidates as per client requirements
    • New Markets (new clients or new positions for existing clients):
      • Crew requirement details provided by Senior Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor.
      • Focus on required skills, certifications, and documentation.
    • Existing Positions:
      • Same process as new markets.
      • Pay close attention to necessary skills, certifications, and documentation.
    • Client Expectation Criteria:
      • Determine qualifications based on knowledge and skills.
      • Establish terms and conditions for workers.
      • Identify special circumstances that may impact job acceptance.
    • Consult Department Supervisor for sourcing strategy.
  • Shortlist Candidates (minimum of 3 if possible):
    • Ensure candidates meet the client's criteria for qualifications.
    • Verification:
      • Check authenticity of documents and certifications (examine originals, confirm with issuer, review service records, and interview candidates).
      • Assess skill level via written exams or interviews.
      • Check fitness, attitude, and character through background checks with previous employers (document findings on the personal data sheet).
    • Rank and shortlist candidates based on qualifications, experience, and loyalty.
    • Endorse shortlisted candidates to Senior Operations Manager for review and client approval.
    • Approved candidates' CVs are sent to relevant departments for client introduction (for existing positions) or to Senior Operations Manager for new markets.
  • Maintain files of pooled personnel (those out of projects) and new applicants seeking employment.
  • Market Research and Business Development:
    • Collect and analyze market data relevant to company growth.
    • Use digital and marketing platforms for research and strategy.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Assist with job site accreditations.
    • Provide well-documented weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
